Magic Carpet Ride Gala
benefiting St. Jude Children's Research Hospital®

Since 2012, we have hosted the Annual Magic Carpet Ride Gala for St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital®. This event has always been very dear to our hearts because many of the founding members of our club were among the original benefactors of St. Jude. In the late 1950’s and early 1960’s, when Lebanese entertainer and hospital founder Danny Thomas was trying to raise funds for St. Jude, he reached out to the many Lebanese communities and organizations throughout our country for seed money. Because the Cedar Club of Atlanta shared Danny Thomas’s vision, they enthusiastically lent their support.

Over the years, this support has helped St. Jude researchers and doctors push the overall survival rates of childhood cancer from 20% then to 80% today.

Cedar Club raised over $1,000,000 for St. Jude.

The Cedar Club of Atlanta takes great pride in knowing that they have played an instrumental role in helping to build a hospital that has become one of the greatest and most trusted charities in the world.

With your continued support, we can come closer to helping Danny Thomas achieve his dream of no child ever dying in the dawn of life.

St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital® is leading the way the world understands, treats and defeats childhood cancer and other life-threatening diseases. Families never receive a bill from St. Jude for treatment, travel, housing or food — because all they should worry about is helping their child live. St. Jude has helped push the childhood cancer survival rate from less than 20% when we opened to 80% today. We won’t stop until no child dies from cancer.

Please join us to support St. Jude Children's Research Hospital®.
